Coach Koch begins his 43rd year of Master Coaching. In a recent national publication a master coach is defined as a mentor that has learned appropriate drills, techniques and fundamentals from a variety of sources, knows what to do, how and when, and can correct, demonstrate, refine player abilities. Coach Koch exemplifies that description. A graduate of DeSales University (then Allentown College) he embodies the philosophy of “gentle but firm”, his coaching reflects over 23,000 hours of training individuals and teams. The success of those players and teams has been guided by Coach Koch’s pursuit of “perfect practice = personal potential”.
